Postpartum isn’t just about sleep and feedings.
You may be feeling exhausted, anxious, or disconnected since having your baby.
Simple tasks might feel overwhelming, sleep may be elusive, and moments that are “supposed” to feel joyful feel heavy or empty instead.
Even in the midst of this, you’re showing up for yourself and your baby—and that effort matters.
At Lemon Grove Counseling, I provide a hopeful space where you can process these intense emotions, rebuild confidence in yourself, and find strategies to feel steadier, calmer, and more connected to yourself and your growing family.
Together, we’ll navigate this postpartum season in a way that honors your strength while helping you reclaim balance and joy.
These feelings aren’t a reflection of your worth—they’re signals that your mind and body are overwhelmed and trying to protect you during a major life adjustment.
Over time, these patterns can wear you down. You may even find yourself asking, “Why can’t I just feel happy like I thought I would?” despite your best efforts.
That’s where postpartum therapy can help. We’ll gently explore what’s keeping you stuck, develop strategies to manage overwhelming emotions, and help you begin to feel steadier, calmer, and more connected to yourself and your baby. My compassionate approach provides support through this challenging but temporary season.
Healing after a baby is about creating space for relief, stability, and hope.
Postpartum counseling provides a safe space to explore how life after a baby has impacted your mind, body, and emotions.
Through evidence-informed strategies, you’ll learn to calm overwhelm, manage low mood or anxiety, and develop practical coping tools for daily life.
Over time, this work helps restore emotional balance, rebuild confidence, and strengthen your sense of self, supporting you in moving from merely surviving to truly thriving as a parent and individual.
